I was inspired to write this song as a tribute to a relatively unknown artist Paula Pryce. I sometimes will listen to a song from a particular artist to get ideas on what to play. While listening to Paula’s song ‘Bright Side’ via Bandcamp https://paulapryce.bandcamp.com/album/bright-side
I came up with an interesting guitar melody and then wrote some lyrics/verses that talk about Paula and also my friend Dan Schultz who is a brilliant piano player who nobody knows. So much talent in the world that goes unheard by many and yet when I witness greatness so unexpectedly and without much fanfare – I’m Blown Away 🙂
