I was recently informed that I’m a nominee for the Thomas Edison Music Award for Solo Performer of the year. As an artist who is relatively obscure, it’s nice to be recognized by the local community. This is one of 36 categories that are up for awards. What’s curious to me, is that I was nominated for best solo performer of covers… although my set lists are comprised of a 50/50 mix of originals and covers – I like to think of myself as a singer songwriter first and foremost. None the less this truly is an honor in which I am very appreciative.
The awards ceremony is being held at Proctors Theatre (main stage) in Schenectady New York – on April 24th – starting at 6 PM. I will be attending and hope to make some new friends.
If you would like to attend the ceremony – here is a link with all the details:
We did it! Well sort of lol 🙂 I thought $10,000 was a fair fundraising goal for my album but I neede…
Take a look back…
