I was doing some street canvasing in downtown Troy New York, looking for venues to play – and came across Cafe Euhporia. I walked into this very pretty Victorian era space with my guitar and asked one of the owners (Cafe Euphoria is owned and operated by all the people that work there – receiving equal shares) Atsushi Akera about playing and we agreed that maybe I just set up at a table and play a few right then. During my singing and playing – people came in – had a seat and it turned out to be a magical evening. You don’t know when and where magic happens – and that’s why we keep on keeping on.

On a day that is so marked with consumerism – maybe we balance it out with some art – music and community building.
