About this Record:
This performance took place just before many of the pandemic rules – such as social distancing, mask wearing and staying home (unless necessary) were instituted. Maurizio was recovering from a nasty flue (like he had never before), only to realize later that it was more than likely Covid-19. With a still lingering cough and overall exhausted but relieved feeling – Maurizio put on a wonderful show to a small audience at Troy’s Market Block Books. Many of the songs performed were new and and in some cases unfinished, as Maurizio allowed the moment to create/sing the lyrics that were needed to complete the verse or chorus. With a more quiet, thoughtfully melodic performance – this collection of songs captures the magic of the evening.
